I’m really doing it this time!
Well, here we go again. I really wanted things to work with BuddyPress, but it’s not to be. The things is an absolute mess both in the way it delivers features and particularly administration. So the fabulous concept of getting other people involved and having some “social networking” magic ain’t happenin’.
So it’s back to ole reliable WordPress. My big problem there is that BuddyPress kinda solved the multi-topic focus this site was intended to have. While entitled GamerRant, gaming is but one topic I want to drone on about here. I plan to cover my love for television series, movie releases and general rambling. I wanted to group new television broadcasts by week and day to let people talk about whats coming, and what already had, um, cum.
But there is no pre-built theme that serves that purpose, and just writing again makes me loathe to work on a custom theme at the moment, so I’ll live with what I’ve got here, and hopefully people can make sense of it all.
What really matters is that I actually do some fucking writing. Let’s se how long that lasts.
